Finally the season 2010 started! Long, harsh winter is behind and hopefully the summer will be a real one, with blue skies and nice temperatures. ( above + 10 C at least...)On 11th of May the classic fishing boat Buster RS was hauled to lake Keitele.
Bits and pieces of the boat were working after winter, as usual, and two quite great semi-working days were spent on the lakeside.
No big thrills on fishing, couple of strikes - nothing landed.
Interesting thing was the water temp. + 4,5 degrees! There was also still some snow in the islands, which is not usual by far at this time of year. New Ice Age is coming?
Nevertheless, evening activities were traditional @ the summer house: sauna, swimming (water +6 C!!!, I will find my balls within a week, I hope!), good food and few drinks.
This time there was also some whisky tasting included.
The chosen Whisky was The Balvenie, 14 yrs, Colden Cask.
Not bad...
So, the game is on and let the summer come!
